Scotch Plains-Fanwood Public Schools, in collaboration with the Township of Scotch Plains, the Borough of Fanwood, and Social Justice Matters, invite the community to a three-part screening of the NJ PBS documentary The Price of Silence, followed by a panel discussion.

The district prioritizes ongoing maintenance and improvements to our fields.
Here is a list of work that has been completed during the 2025-2026 school year and what still needs to be done.
District plans to gradually return fifth grade to elementary schools, starting with Brunner Elementary School in the 2026-2027 school year

Scotch Plains-Fanwood Public Schools has begun the bid process and completed the first sale of bonds for the projects approved by voters in January 2025. With construction beginning this fall, the district is on track to open La Grande Elementary School to pre-kindergarten students for the 2026-2027 school year and to complete district-wide upgrades to fire alarms, electrical, and HVAC by fall 2026 and fall 2027.
